By the second half of Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals between the Warriors and Rockets, Mike Breen commented on the ABC broadcast that the contest was starting to “pick up a cantankerous feel.” The Rockets and Warriors have had a cantankerous relationship dating back to 2015, so that was not front page news.
