OAKLAND -- The Warriors blasted the Houston Rockets out of the sky and right along with it the notion that they can't keep rolling in the playoffs without Stephen Curry.
In their first game since it was determined Curry's knee sprain was a mild one but could keep him sidelined for two weeks, the Warriors closed out the Rockets by blowing them out 114-81 on Wednesday to advance to the Western Conference semifinals. The Warriors will face either the Portland Trail Blazers or Los Angeles Clippers in the next round beginning next week with the confidence of having overwhelmed the Rockets in the first round while missing Curry for three of the five games.
