Warriors assistant coach Willie Green will be the team’s summer-league head coach both in Sacramento and Las Vegas, league sources told The Bay Area News Group. Green has spent the past two years as an assistant coach/player development after cementing a 12-year NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers (2003-2010), former New Orleans Hornets (2010-11), Atlanta Hawks (2011-12), Los Angeles Clippers (2012-14) and Orlando Magic (2014-15). The 36-year-old Green has taken on different roles, including scrimmaging against players in practice, shooting instruction and having individual film sessions players.
