Maybe it's because he's a glutton for punishment, or maybe it's because both his son Nick and daughter Maddy both played for Cal Athletics programs — whatever the reason, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was on hand for Cal's excruciating 21-17 homecoming loss to Oregon State on Saturday in Berkeley.
And he felt very much at home.
"When I was walking down the aisle at the game, and some fan (said) 'Why would you torture yourself on your day off at a Cal game?'" Kerr told reporters post-Warriors practice on Sunday. "I said, 'It’s just like being an Arizona fan, it’s the exact same thing.
