CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Just as he had feared, Stephen Curry’s sprained right ankle did not heal in 24 hours. Just as he had hoped, Curry will not stay on the sidelines for too long.
The Warriors have ruled Curry out for at least two weeks after an MRI taken on Tuesday confirmed a sprained right ankle that he suffered in the last minute of Monday’s game in New Orleans. That puts a damper on Curry sitting out when the Warriors (19-6) play on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets (9-13) before a hometown crowd.
