If you've watched the NBA at all this season, it's a legitimate question: how did Golden State Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson end up in Saturday's NBA Dunk Contest?
How did someone who may not even be one of the three best dunkers on his own team (see: Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton II, the latter of whom leads all guards in dunks this season by a wide margin), end up at All-Star Weekend period?
The answer is very likely this:
Toscano-Anderson called it the best in-game dunk of his career. The Warriors are already mentioning it in the same breath as two of the franchise's most iconic playoff posters (Baron Davis over Andrei Kirilenko in the 2007 Western Conference playoffs, and Shaun Livingston over Richard Jefferson in the 2016 NBA Finals).
