The Golden State Warriors had the best lineup in basketball last season.
Their Death Lineup would turn deficits into huge leads almost instantly. They were extremely deadly on the offensive end, using spacing, movement, and passing to pick teams apart with their shooting.
They were incredible offensively and they might have been even better on the other end. Their versatility allowed them to play a stifling brand of defense, with all five guys working together and picking each other up. The Warriors switched screens seamlessly, communicating perfectly.
Their go-to lineup would close out games. Steve Kerr would stand on the sideline and, in his best Mortal Kombat voice, would shout out FINISH THEM and then send out that dream-crushing, world-eating lineup.
