Like clockwork, the Golden State Warriors hit another playoff milestone on Monday — pulling to within one win of a seventh NBA championship after a 104-94 Game 5 victory in San Francisco — and ESPN's Brian Windhorst was on your TV screen ready to drag the franchise.
On Monday he called the gutty victory a "checkbook win," using a wild set of mental gymnastics to contend the Warriors are buying this NBA title (as if that's a bad thing).
"Andrew Wiggins, he's not an underdog, he makes $32 million," Windhorst said on "SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt" following the Dubs' dub.
