MINNEAPOLIS — Center Zaza Pachulia will miss his second straight game with a right wrist bruise Sunday night when the Warriors face the Timberwolves.
Anderson Varejao replaced Pachulia in the starting lineup for Saturday’s loss to Memphis, but head coach Steve Kerr declined to say whether Varejao will receive another start.
“I know who’s going to start, but I’m not going to tell you,” Kerr said. “I’m going to catch Tom (Thibodeau) off guard. He’s going to probably be rattled until like mid-second quarter.”
Pachulia was listed as a starter on the pregame lineup handed out to media Saturday, but was scratched shortly before introductions when the wrist bruise he suffered in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers flared up.
