Warriors center Zaza Pachulia will miss at least a week with a right rotator cuff strain, the team announced Wednesday morning.
It is another blow to a frontcourt rotation already without David West, who is set to miss his seventh straight game with a fractured left thumb. West, Pachulia’s primary backup when both are healthy, will be re-evaluated later Wednesday and could potentially return for Thursday’s road game against the Clippers.
With Pachulia and West out for Wednesday’s matchup against the Hornets, Golden State’s only available center options are JaVale McGee, Kevon Looney, Anderson Varejao, James Michael McAdoo and rookie Damian Jones.
