Centers Zaza Pachulia and David West are available to return from injury Thursday night against the Clippers, bringing the Warriors’ frontcourt to full strength.
Pachulia (strained right rotator cuff) and West (fractured left thumb) missed the past eight and 14 games, respectively. While West will assume his spot coming off the bench, Pachulia returns to the starting lineup.
Head coach Steve Kerr had considered keeping JaVale McGee, who thrived as the fill-in starter in Pachulia’s absence, with the first unit. But after examining his substitution patterns, Kerr decided to return to what has worked most of the season.
