Warriors working to sign Chasson Randle after CBA suspends play

The Warriors are in the process of signing guard Chasson Randle to a contract, a league source confirmed with Bay Area News Group. The news was first reported by ESPN.

Randle, who has played this season with Tianjin of the Chinese Basketball Association, has been working with his team and FIBA in order to sign a contract with the Warriors. Previous attempts were blocked by his Chinese team, per a league source.

As of now, the Warriors have a league-maximum two 10-day contract players on the roster — Mychal Mulder and Dragan Bender. Golden State can either sign Randle after Bender’s 10-day contract expires on Tuesday, or if they will sign him to a prorated minimum.
