The Golden State Warriors 132-100 victory over the Victor Oladpio-less Indiana Pacers had a predictable outcome. The champs are activating what Steph Curry referred to as “playoff mentality” and are on a monster 11 game win streak, while the Pacers are trying to recover emotionally from a horrendous injury to their star player.
Yet I came away from this game shaking with awe, as a man receiving the blessing of a long awaited hope come true. Last night was the first time in a long time as a Warriors fan that I witnessed Golden State unleashing an honest-to-goodness, inside-outside, point guard-center combination to destroy another team.
