Warriors’ woes among reasons cited for NBA TV ratings declines

TV ratings for NBA games are down so far this season and the injury-riddled Golden State Warriors are among the reasons.

Coming into the season, the NBA and its television partners were banking on the Warriors to be one of the prime attractions — just as they had been for the previous five years. And so the Warriors were scheduled for five national games — on TNT, ESPN or ABC — over the first four weeks of the season.
