With a new arena will come a new look for the Warriors next season.
The team announced subtle changes Wednesday to its primary logo, including introducing a slightly darker shade of blue that will appear on their uniforms when they move to San Francisco’s Chase Center.
The Warriors’ new logo, first reported by SportsLogos.net, features some changes on the Bay Bridge span to present “a more accurate portrayal,” the team said. Typophiles will note a new, customized font on the Warriors’ updated logo, replacing the Copperplate font the team has used since 2010.
A new “The Bay” logo, likely to be on a new alternate jersey, is also among the differences we’ll see next season.
