This turning point is stolen right from the mouth of KNBR’s Tom Tolbert. Thanks Tommy!
November 11, 2015, Warriors-Spurs at Oracle Arena. After a loss to the Suns on the road; Golden State faced their darkest nemesis over the past few years in the reigning champion Spurs, a team known for their militaristic discipline.
The Warriors lost 113-100, the 13 points would represent the second largest losing disparity of the season. The loss had to make coaches and players question themselves, particularly after opening the year with five straight wins. However, those wins were sloppy; Golden State committed 20 or more turnovers in four of those victories.
