The Warriors have won four of their last five games, including a 127-104 win over the 76ers on Wednesday night, leading head coach Steve Kerr to say he believes the current team “can do something special.” But Golden State is still 23-25 on the season and sits in 11th place in the Western Conference, one game behind Utah for the final spot in the Play-In.
As recently as last month, reports indicated that Golden State was willing to blow it all up, with NBA insider Shams Charania saying “everyone but Steph Curry is on the table.
