The Warriors will wear 1990s-themed alternate uniforms for six select Sunday games this season as a nod to the “Run TMC” era, the team announced Friday afternoon.
The jerseys feature the same diagonal lettering Golden State wore in the early ’90s, when “Run TMC” — Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin — teamed up for two seasons. The trio scored a combined 62 points per game in 1989-90, and the following season, each player ranked among the top 11 in the NBA in scoring.
Point guard Shaun Livingston will debut the new alternate uniforms Monday morning at the Warriors’ Media Day.
