TORONTO - If you talk to Klay Thompson in a moment of honesty, he’ll tell you that he believes he is the NBA’s best two-way shooting guard.
When President Barack Obama said last week that Thompson’s jump shot is “sweeter” than that of Stephen Curry, Thompson nodded in agreement.
Thompson is plenty confident, but don’t get that twisted with being egotistical. In fact, Thompson’s relaxed personality has allowed him to become the perfect sidekick to the superhero role in which Curry shines.
“Klay doesn’t seem to have a care in the world, so that translates a lot of different ways,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said.
