The Golden State Warriors’ Jimmy Butler era might be only six games old, but the results have already caused yet another national NBA pundit to do a bit of self-flagellation.
Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor published a video on Monday titled “10 NBA questions keeping me up at night.” Right out of the gate, he starts with the Dubs and asks the question, “Am I a dumbass for suggesting the Warriors should blow it up?”
O’Connor then goes on to list the ways that suggest perhaps he is, citing Golden State’s 5-1 record since Jimmy Butler officially joined the roster one week before All-Star Weekend, as well as a litany of statistics that show how much better the Warriors are with Butler on the floor by himself, with Draymond Green and, of course, with Green and star Stephen Curry.
