NEW YORK – Steve Kerr has a Warriors game to coach. That’s never going to stop him from speaking out on issues, though.
Kerr acknowledged he has felt “a little bit” fearful for his safety with a Florida man being arrested and charged on Friday with sending mail bombs to various public figures.
“We all should be concerned no matter who you are,” Kerr said before the Warriors (4-1) played the Knicks (1-4) on Friday. “You need to be concerned, not just with the bombs, but somebody shooting you. It’s the country we live in these days, innocent people get killed and innocent people get shot.
