Winning makes everything easier. At least, that's the cliche that sports fans have been told for years; if the number in the "wins" column keeps getting higher, the problems in the locker room — competing egos, debates over roles and generic drama — feel more and more insignificant.
But during a podcast interview on "The Ringer NBA Show," Steve Kerr offered a new perspective: maybe winning isn't always as preferable as we thought.
Co-hosts Logan Murdock (erstwhile Warriors beat reporter for The Mercury News and NBC Sports Bay Area) and Raja Bell (a retired pro hooper who made the briefest of stops in the Bay Area during his 12-year career) asked Kerr a simple question: "Is it harder to coach when you're winning in a dynasty, or when you're trying to build up something that could potentially be a dynasty?
