OAKLAND — The punishment did not make sense to Warriors coach Steve Kerr, especially after seeing the incident in person and on film several times afterwards.
The NBA fined Warriors forward Draymond Green $25,000 “for confronting” Wizards guard Bradley Beal and “failing to disengage from him.” But considering the NBA fined Beal $50,000 for “grabbing” Green “around the neck,” Kerr said he felt “a little confused” with the league’s ruling.
“I don’t get how you get fined 25 grand for being attacked,” Kerr said before Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons at the Oracle. “So I don’t know.
