OAKLAND -- Upbeat and walking without a limp but still unable to shoot, Warriors guard Stephen Curry said Friday he's optimistic he can return from his sprained right knee within the two-week estimate and perhaps even sooner.
"I always have an optimistic view, no matter what it is, so I hope to get back sooner," Curry said in his first public comments since his injury last Sunday. "Having talked to the doctors, athletic training staff and all the experts, that two-week timeline is an educated guess based on other cases and the recovery time they had."Obviously, everybody heals differently, so whether it's before two weeks, right at two weeks, after two weeks, the plan is to stay the same.
