Stephen Curry will miss his first game since late November on Saturday when the Warriors host the Dallas Mavericks at Oracle Arena.
Per the NBA’s injury report that was posted Friday afternoon, Curry will be out for ‘rest’ reasons. Also sitting Saturday’s game for rest will be center Andrew Bogut and guard Shaun Livingston. The Warriors host the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
Curry is averaging 27.8 points per game and has dressed for every game since Dec. 1 when he returned from a groin injury that sidelined him for 11 games from Nov. 10-29.
The Warriors entered Friday tied with the Denver Nuggets atop the Western Conference standings with 49-22 records
Golden State has won four of its last five games since a 115-111 loss to the Phoenix Suns at Oracle Arena on March 10.
