Warriors’ Stephen Curry says he, Kevin Durant will mesh just fine

Stephen Curry has done the research. The Warriors point guard pored over the numbers, reviewed the personnel and checked tendencies.

It all adds up: Even with four-time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant in the lineup, Curry shouldn’t have to take many less shots this season.

“I did some advanced analytics,” Curry said Tuesday night during a Q&A with former Sports Illustrated columnist Rick Reilly at TechCrunch Disrupt on Pier 48. “There’s plenty of shots to go around.”

Durant hoisted 19.2 shots per game with Oklahoma City last season, twice what the Warriors’ 2015-16 starting small forward — Harrison Barnes, now with Dallas — averaged.
