PORTLAND — One night after dropping 43 points in three quarters, Steph Curry will get a night of rest against the Blazers. But there’s a reason. Curry has the stomach flu, according to the team.
It will be Curry’s first missed game of the season, leaving Kevin Durant as the lone Warrior to appear in all 48 games this season.
Curry nearly missed Saturday night’s game against the Clippers with some quad tightness. But after testing it out pregame, he decided to give it a shot. Curry went on to hit nine 3s, nail a halfcourter, score 25 points in the third quarter and star in Golden State’s ridiculous 46-point win over the Clippers.
