About eight hours after the Warriors’ first day of training camp finished, Draymond Green and Stephen Curry passed each other at the team’s downtown Oakland facility.
It was 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Green had done his extra work and was leaving. Curry wanted to get in more work and was arriving.
“I just want to get right before the season starts, so you’ve got to push yourself,” Curry said after Tuesday’s practice. “I didn’t send a group text: ‘Hey fellas, come watch me work out.’ … If I’m doing what I need to do to be ready and can push guys in practice and try to be in the best shape, then that gets everybody else going.
