The time of the Splash Brothers may be over for the Golden State Warriors, but the next era is just beginning.
After trading Steph Curry's longtime backcourt partner Klay Thompson, the Warriors acquired Buddy Hield through a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Warriors fans are now hyping Curry and Hield as a Splash duo with a new name:
Curry and Thompson earned their nickname as their record three-point shooting combined to help lead the Warriors to four titles between 2015 and 2022.
