With the star backcourt duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson missing significant time due to injury, the Golden State Warriors have found themselves in unfamiliar territory at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
As the midpoint of the season passes, fans have something to cheer about as Curry and Thompson are both set to be re-evaluated next month.
The biggest problem this season for the Warriors has been unfortunate injuries to their stars. Thompson has not played since Game 6 of last year’s NBA Finals after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee, while Curry has missed several months with a broken hand suffered about a week into the season.
