Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry delivered yet another blow to the heart of Knicks fans on Wednesday, one day before the start of his sixth NBA Finals appearance in eight years.
The dig came strangely unprompted. During his pre-Finals press conference, he was asked about his thoughts about his current franchise moments after he was drafted. Curry couldn’t help but recall that he knew nothing about Golden State, particularly because he was so convinced that New York was going to draft him.
“All I knew was the ‘We Believe’ team, the Baron Davis dunk and them beating Dallas, that was the top of mind.
