Per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Golden State Warriors are signing Quinten Post, their 2024 draft pick in the second round, to a two-way contract. To make room, they are waiving Daeqwon Plowden, who was previously signed to a two-way slot after a promising showing in the Summer League.
The Warriors are signing Quinten Post (52nd pick) to a two-way contract ahead of training camp, per source. He's a stretch center. To make room, they're waiving Daeqwon Plowden. They still intend to bring Plowden to camp to compete for a two-way spot.

Along with being their only draft pick, another reason why the Warriors are prioritizing him is his profile: a 7-foot center who can stretch the floor and potentially provide some paint and rim protection on the other end.
