The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent forward Marquese Chriss to a Two-Way contract, the team announced today.
Chriss, 22, appeared in 37 games (three starts) for the Warriors earlier this season, posting averages of 7.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 17.7 minutes per game. A four-year NBA veteran, Chriss owns career averages of 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 18.9 minutes per contest over 234 career games (129 starts) with Phoenix, Houston, Cleveland and Golden State. Originally selected by Sacramento with the eighth overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Chriss was named to the 2016-17 NBA All-Rookie Team as a member of the Phoenix Suns.
