The Warriors announced the signing of four players to their 20-man training camp roster Thursday, none of whom is expected to be in Oakland on opening night.
Nonetheless, adding free agent guards Alex Hamilton, Antonius Cleveland and Michael Gbinije (pronounced ben-ih-jhay) and forward Georges Niang (pronounced KNEE-yang) could at least bolster the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Warriors’ minor league team. Gbinije and Niang, after all, both played in the NBA last season.
