Warriors reportedly waive Ky Bowman, one of last season's few bright spots

The Golden State Warriors have reportedly waived guard Ky Bowman, who had a few nice moments in the team's injury-plagued and shortened 2019-2020 season.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Bowman was waived by the Warriors on Friday. Charania reported Bowman "has interest around the NBA."

Bowman appeared in 45 games and started 12 for the Warriors last season after joining the team on a two-way contract over the summer. After Bowman provided a little spark off the bench, the Warriors converted his two-way contract into a three-year non-guaranteed NBA contract.

The Warriors drafted a similar player in Arizona's Nico Mannion on Wednesday, and upon waiving Bowman, Golden State's roster has been trimmed to the maximum of 15 players.
