The Golden State Warriors have recalled guard Jordan Poole from the team’s G League affiliate in Santa Cruz, the team announced today.
Poole appeared in three games (all starts) for Santa Cruz, averaging 26.0 points (46.3% from the field, 42.3% from three), 6.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.67 steals in 35.1 minutes per game. He was originally assigned by Golden State on December 28, 2019.
The rookie guard has appeared in 29 games (nine starts) for Golden State, recording averages of 7.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 21.7 minutes per game. Selected by the Warriors with the 28th overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, the University of Michigan product has scored in double-figures nine times, including two efforts of 20-or-more points.
