The Golden State Warriors have reportedly re-signed free agent center Kevon Looney, ensuring that an invaluable member of their latest NBA Finals run stays in the Bay Area.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojanarowski, Looney and the Warriors agreed on a three-year, $25.5 million contract. Prior to free agency, people around the league speculated that Looney could make about $10 million annually. His reported contract comes in a bit below that mark.
The Warriors had Looney's Bird rights, which means they could go over the salary cap to re-sign him, but pay a luxury tax bill for it.
