SAN ANTONIO — The moment brought Quinn Cook’s basketball life nearly full circle.
As the Warriors fought through an eventual 89-75 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, Cook noticed the Spurs made a late-game defensive adjustment. Spurs guard Tony Parker soon took a concerted effort to guard Cook and deny him the ball any chance he could.
“To play the Spurs and to play against Tony Parker is a dream come true,” Cook said afterwards. “I expect to do this.
