Aaron Miles is moving up the Golden State Warriors ranks. According to a report from Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, Miles has been promoted from head coach of the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors to a player development coach for Golden State.
Miles, 36, had coached Golden State’s G League affiliate for the last two seasons. He also was given coaching duties of the Warriors 2019 Summer League teams, which allowed him to work with 2019 draft picks Jordan Poole, Eric Paschall, and Alen Smailagic, in addition to second-year guard Jacob Evans III.
