Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry says a focused mindset was the differences between Thursday’s 132-105 win against the Clippers and the previous upset in Game 2.
At the postgame news conference, he said a gameplan that focused on Kevin Durant jump started the team, and they focused on playing better defense without the turnovers. Durant’s offense combined with more efficient play on both sides of the ball created a snowball effect that pushed the Warriors to a blowout win.
Despite the victory, Curry didn’t want to get ahead of himself. He said the team has a lot of work to do to fulfill their quest for the rare NBA threepeat.
