A stellar rookie season for Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski has earned him a trip to Friday night’s Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend. Hours before the game, which is meant to showcase the league’s best young talent, the left-hander was already stealing the show in Indianapolis.
Podziemski made a full-court heave at the Rising Stars practice on Friday, which the Warriors captured for a video posted on social media. Podziemski’s feet aren’t visible in the clip, but he appears to be behind the opposite baseline as he winds up his overhand throw.
Podziemski launched the ball across the 94-foot floor a little too hard for a swish.
