The Warriors have exercised the third-year options of guard Jacob Evans and forward Omari Spellman.
Evans, who will be sidelined at least three weeks with an adductor strain, was selected by the Warriors with the 28th pick in the 2018 draft. After an underwhelming rookie season, he earned a role in the rotation before suffering his injury Monday in New Orleans. Evans, 22, is averaging 14.3 minutes and six points per game.
Spellman, 22, was acquired in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks in July for center Damian Jones and a future second-round pick. With recent injuries to the center position, Spellman has played minutes at both power forward and center.
