After selecting center James Wiseman second overall, the Golden State Warriors opted to hold onto their second-round picks, too.
The Dubs chose University of Arizona point guard Nico Mannion at No. 48, and Boise State forward Justinian Jessup at No. 51. Both Mannion and Jessup will eventually join the team with unique back stories.
Mannion was a consensus five-star high school player and a McDonald's All-American in 2019. He was widely projected as a first-round pick before his freshman year at Arizona, where he was solid but not as dominant as expected.
Mannion averaged 14 points and five assists with the Wildcats, but shot just 39% from the floor.
