Patrick McCaw‘s fall was one of the scariest moments of the Warriors’ season.
He was going up for a layup against the Kings when he was undercut by Vince Carter and hit the ground extremely hard on his lower back. He was on the floor for an extended amount of time and was carted off the court for precautionary reasons.
Fortunately all of the tests came back negative, which is a good thing in the medical world, and McCaw avoided any long-term harm as a result to the injury.
McCaw will still be out for at least four weeks with a “lumbosacral bone bruise” before he is re-evaluated.
