Warriors outworked by Heat, lose 122-105 in Miami

MIAMI — Speaking with reporters before the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr cited the Miami Heat as a model for consistently playing hard. “No matter what kind of season they have, I know they’re going to be playing their (butts) off.”

The Warriors (4-16) then received a personal lesson in hard work, losing to the Heat 122-105 in Miami on Friday, getting out-hustled on the boards and failing to move the ball with the same commitment as their opponent.

A slow start created an early deficit as the Warriors fell behind 12-2 after the first three minutes of the game.
