El Nino was in full effect in the Bay Area on Friday night, and that included indoors at Oracle Arena. The Warriors and Trail Blazers combined to make 37 3-pointers – an NBA all-time record – and in the end the Warriors walked away with a 128-112 victory.
Klay Thompson hit the first of his eight 3-pointers one minute into the game, and it continued to rain threes for pretty much the rest of the evening. Thompson made four treys by the midway point of the opening period, and then fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry got in on the action with four triples of the last five minutes of the frame.
