OAKLAND — As the Warriors go from Memphis to Oklahoma City to Denver next weekend, another Warriors team will temporarily take over their building. The franchise’s D-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, will play a Sunday game in Oracle Arena.
It’s a cool moment for the organization — 13,000-plus tickets have already been sold, a Steph Curry bobblehead will be handed out to fans — providing a showcase stage for a league they’ve helped rapidly build up over the past half-decade.
