OAKLAND -- The Warriors on Monday announced the signing of guard Ben Gordon, who was seeking an invitation to the team’s training camp that begins on Tuesday.
Gordon, 32, will attempt to make the team as a backup shooting guard. The 11-year veteran spent last season with Orlando, which released him in June.
“He’s a proven scorer, a proven shooter,” coach Steve Kerr said last week, as Gordon’s contract was being finalized. “He’s at an age where he should still be able to play. Physically, he looks good.
