OAKLAND -- Steve Kerr said Tuesday that while he's feeling better and well enough to be with the Warriors on a limited basis, he isn't ready to coach. Still, he expects to return to the bench this season.
"I am totally confident of that," Kerr said before the Warriors' on-court championship ceremony and season opener at Oracle Arena. "I don't have a timetable."I would hope tomorrow, but tomorrow's not happening. I fully believe that I will be back before too long. How's that? It's the best I can give you."Kerr could offer his thoughts during halftime of the game against the New Orleans Pelicans during his leave of absence while recovering from offseason back surgeries, according to interim head coach Luke Walton.
