The All-Star break is right around the corner, which means the trade deadline isn’t far behind. So far this season, the Warriors have played well enough to claim the best record in the league, but there is always room for improvement.
While it’s unlikely that the Warriors make any moves by the deadline, they will be looking to upgrade their roster at some point. It looks like the process has begun.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors have waived Anderson Varejao and signed Briante Weber to replace him on the roster:
